Nimbus Saleplane
Based on the prototype Nimbus of 1970 that won the World Open Championship, the Nimbus II was modified for even better performance and took the same title twice over. The Nimbus II has a maximum lift/drag ratio of 49 at a speed of 56 mph: that is, it can travel 49 miles forward for every mile of altitude loss.
