FEAM Maintenance-Engineering
was was recognized with the
Aviation Achievement Award in 2019

FEAM, based in Miami, is the MRO leader in Aircraft Line Maintenance Engineering in the U.S. In 2018, they announced their $19 million investment at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), with a new 103,000-square-foot hangar.  The hangar, expected to be completed by 2020, will be used for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of various aircraft, specifically 747-800 aircraft.

FEAM currently operates at CVG, where it employs over 100 aircraft technicians servicing DHL, WOW Air, Atlas Air, and Amazon Air’s fleet Prime Air. The company anticipates that continued growth of the e-commerce market, combined with the arrival of the Amazon Air cargo hub, will create an additional 100 or more job opportunities for aircraft technicians in addition to the 100 jobs announced with this project, bringing the company’s employment in Northern Kentucky to 300 by 2020. The anticipated growth would make the CVG location the company’s largest operation in the U.S.  FEAM has always maintained a family atmosphere. The company philosophy is to treat people like people. With its vibrant and fun work environment, FEME attracts top talent and is regarded as THE place to be in aviation. People come to work at FEMA, and they stay, they know that they will never be just a number.
